The South Central Falcons opened up IESA Regional play yesterday at home beating Brownstown/St Elmo 15-0 in three innings. SC scored 10 runs in the opening inning to put the game away. Sebastian Kruger doubled, Chase Guerrettaz tripled and drove in 3 runs. Kruger and Trevan Sidwell drove in 2 each as Trevan went 3-3 with 2 runs scored as well. Also with RBI for SC were Kaiden Harrell, Reese Boyd and Colton Cartright. Garret Shumate was the winning pitcher allowing 1 hit and striking out 4. The Falcons improve to 20-1 and will take on Windsor/Stew Stras in a semifinal matchup on Saturday at noon.
