The Franklin Park JV softball team beat Central City 15-3. Abigail Thompson was the winning pitcher for Salem going 2 innings. Morgan Honerkamp, Quinn Wolfe, Emma Lipe and Kendall Zimmermann also threw for Salem. Lipe had a double with Wolfe and Allison Thurman adding singles. Every Lady Cat got on base and scored in the game.
In varsity softball, Raccoon beat Sandoval 10-3. Bria Murray went all 6 innings striking out 11 and went 1-3 at the plate with a double. Maya Braddy was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a triple. Kaylee Bowdler was 3-4 with a double and Kloi Spencer added a hit along with Jasey Bowdler.
