Police Beat for Friday, September 10th, 2021

A 56-year-old Salem woman has been arrested by State Police on drug charges. Hope Yates of Cottonwood Drive was taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic needle.

Two people remain in custody after being arrested by Wamac Police on outstanding warrants. 42-year-old Amanda Williams of North Orange in Sandoval is being held on Marion and Clinton County felony failure to appear warrants with bond totaling $25,000. 44-year-old Tonya DeBoer is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond on a felony failure to appear warrant.

27-year-old Kristen Powe of Locust Street in Salem posted $100 bond and was released after being arrested for driving under the influence.

33-year-old Levi Sullens of Public Street in Alma was arrested by Kinmundy Police on a failure to appear warrant for driving on a suspended license. She posted $150 bond and was released.
