The Raccoon Grade School’s sports booster club has raised $840 for the Shriner’s as they continued their Money Wars prior to Friday night’s Shrine Classic Football game between Centralia and Salem.
Centralia won this year’s Money Wars which means the Salem representative and junior high math teacher Kristen Parrett received a pie in the face from Centralia’s Laura Mayer, a junior high science and social studies teacher. Superintendent Misty Johannes also ended up with a pie to her face during the Friday
finally.
This is the 5th year Raccoon Grade School has donated to the Shriner’s through the Money Wars. They have now raised close to $5,000.
