The Odin School has been hit hard by COVID-19.

Superintendent Kimberly Briggs reports the district currently has seven positive students and 50 who are out due to close contacts. Briggs says four of the COVID-19 confirmed cases are at Odin High School and three at the elementary/junior high school.

Briggs says the close contact students will receive a letter from the health department on when they can return. The close contact students are on Remote Learning.

The Odin School Board has called a special meeting for Monday, August 30th, at 6:30 pm at the school library to review and possibly approve an updated Back to School Plan. Briggs says she wants to make sure everyone is on the same page on how they are handling the COVID-19 cases.
