A 33-year-old Sandoval man has been arrested in connection with three burglary cases, one at Little Egypt Golf Cars on South Broadway in Salem and at two currently unoccupied homes in rural Odin and Sandoval.
Timothy Bowlby of North Pine was arrested at his home by the Marion County Sheriff Department on Tuesday.
Sheriff’s Department detectives have charged Bowlby with earlier entering unoccupied homes on Red Stripe Road in Odin and on Old Salem Road in rural Sandoval. Detectives discovered the Old Salem Road burglary during the investigation.
Damage was done in entering the homes and a large number of collectibles were taken from both homes.
Detectives say a vehicle description helped tie Bowlby to the case. The investigation is ongoing involving other burglaries.
Meanwhile, Salem Police have arrested Bowlby in connection with a July 30th burglary to the storage lot for Little Egypt Golf Cars on South Broadway. Police report entry was made by cutting the back fence. Golf car batteries were allegedly stolen.
Bowlby is being held in the Marion County Jail awaiting a decision on formal charges.
