Both drivers received apparent minor injuries in a rear-end crash on the Route 161 Extension at Morton Lane in rural Kell Monday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say 21-year-old Joshua Helm of Green Road in Iuka was eastbound when he ran into the rear of a car driven by 34-year-old Natasha Hersey of Fairfield.
The drivers were treated on the scene by Kell Fire Department first responders and United Medical Response, but refused hospital treatment.
