The 2a Final Four will be played today at ISU. The first game of the day at 10am will see Timothy Christian taking on Sacred Heart-Griffin followed by Normal University and Freeburg at 1. The 3rd place game will be at 4pm and the title game in 2a played at 7pm.
The 3a state title went to Springfield after their 8-7 win over Prairie Ridge at Wintrust Field in Schaumburg. Springfield opened the day with a 6-4 win in 8 innings over Burbank St Laurence while Prairie Ridge nipped Washington 4-3. In the 3rd place game it was St Laurence beating Washington 12-6.
Wintrust will be the site for the 4a tournament today. At 10am it’s Hononegah taking on Plainfield East followed by O’Fallon and Roselle Lake Park at 1. The Trophy games will be at 4 and 7.
