In Little League Majors at the Complex, IGA needed extra innings but pulled out a 16-10 win over Lions. Zane Dodson went 2-3 with a 2 run homer run in the first inning. Titus Thompson added a triple and double, Brant Thompson doubled and singled. Brant got the save in extra innings. Drake Rector got the win. Jackson Hodge made 3 great plays at 2nd base. For Lions, Evan Barnes hit for the cycle. Huck Mulvany also pitched a great game.
Rotary defeated Americana 14-2 in five-innings. Landen Maxey was the winning pitcher striking out 9 and allowing just 5 hits. At the plate, Jaret Gibson and Madden Thompson had 2 hits each including doubles. Rotary also got singles from Brenden Smith, Maxey, Scout Puricelli and Riley Tate. Kyler King had 2 singles. For Americana, Jaxon Ward struck out 7 in the loss. He also had 2 hits with singles also coming from Keyton Grawe and Silus Lux.
