Marquette beat Father McGivney 7-0, Althoff over Gibault 3-0, Carlinville nipped Hillsboro 3-2, Pinckneyville 4-1 winners over Massac, Murphysboro 6-0 over Anna, Greenville lost to Roxana 7-0, Pana 1-0 over Williamsville.
Today in 1a soccer sectional quarterfinal play, Columbia hosts Freeburg.
In 2a, Chatham beat Mt Zion 9-1, Marion 1-0 winners over Carbondale, Triad beat Civic Memorial 3-0 and Waterloo 8-0 over Carterville.
In 3a regional championship play, Edwardsville beat Collinsville 1-0.
