At the Little League Complex in boys Majors, IGA defeated Lions behind a no-hitter from Landon Tennyson 8-1. LT needed just 77 pitches in 6 innings in the win. Titus Thompson had 2 hits, Alex Spencer added 2 including an inside-the-park home run, Brant Thompson had 2 hits also with a home run and he threw out a runner trying to steal 2nd. Tennyson finished with 2 hits as well. Defensively for Lions, Evan Barnes made 2 great plays at first base.
The Rotary Reds trailed 4-3 after 3 innings but scored 11 times in the fourth to pull away to beat Americana 18-8. Kyler King got the win on the mound with Max Vincent finishing the game. At the plate for Rotary Landon Maxey, Vincent and Jaret Gibson each had 2 hits with one each from King, Riley Tate, Scout Puricelli, Madden Thompson and Kai Johnston. In the loss, Keytin Grawe singled twice with Jax Ward, Landon Whtie and Nicholi Marhanka singling. Rotary improves to 9-0, Americana falls to 4-5.
In Minors, Security Alarm got by Edward Jones 2-1. Drew Consolino had 2 hits in the win with Keldon Orrell singling. In the loss, Owen Tennyson tripled and Emit Gibson went 2-2.
In boys Coach Pitch, Jerold Henson Painting and Salem Bowl ended in an 8-8 tie. For Jerold Henson Painting, EJ Wolfe and Koleson Green each doubled. Brendan Dye, Kane Nix and Noah Smith each had 3 hits.
