Wildcats Fall To SC On Saturday, Head To Centralia Today

The Salem Wildcats dropped their game at Lions Field in Kinmundy 13-6 to the SC Cougars on Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars scored 7 runs in the third inning to and had a 11-0 lead after 3.5 innings.  Salem scored 5 in the fourth to take a chunk out of the deficit but they couldn’t get closer.  The Cougars improved to 17-3 on the year with the win.

Aiden Dodson went 2-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.  Brandt Hiestand and Chase Thompson drove in a pair with RBI also from Sebastian Cowger and Beau Jolliff.

For the Cats, they got RBI from Rolen Adams, Eli Rose, Griffin Day and Brayden Aaron.

Dodson got the win for SC going 3 innings with Spencer Johannes, Chase Dodson and Hiestand also working.  For Salem, Trent Boles worked the first 3 innings with Brendan Phillips working the last 4.
