The Salem Lady Cats hosted Mt Vernon for Senior Day at Tully Park yesterday. The day was dominated by the pitchers in the circle. Salem’s Delaney Kell and Mt Vernon’s Lauren Little. Salem won the opener 2-1 and fell 2-0 in the second game. Kell and Little combined to strikeout 56 on the day. Kell finished with 32 and Little 24. Both teams will begin regionals later this week.
