The SC 14u Storm were 2nd place over the weekend at the Salute the Troops Tournament in Sesser, falling to the SI Lady Prospect. For SC, Rhyan Fiscus drove in the lone run.
SC beat the Legends 6-3 in the semifinal. Kyle Nalewajka drove in 2 with RBI also from Lauren Johnson and Fiscus. The opening elimination game on Sunday saw SC shutout the SI Freedom 8-0. Nalewajka drove in 2; also with RBI were Kyra Swift and Ella Watwood.
SC opened tournament play with pool action on Saturday with a 9-2 win over Mascoutah and a 10-3 loss to the Lady Prospects.
