Salem 14u Improve To 10-3 With Split

The Salem 14U Wildcats split a doubleheader with the SI Warriors over the weekend.   Salem won the first game 8-3.  Silas Moats was 3-3 with an RBI, Ayden Rose drove in three runs, Heydin Purcell doubled, Cooper Lobek and Kolsyn Quinn singled.  Rhett Detering and Aden Bass had RBI singles, Ryan Detering added an RBI.  Heydin Purcell was the winning pitcher going five strong innings and Rhett Detering closed the game with a save.
In the second game, Salem was coming back 6-4 before the game was called for darkness.  Ryan Detering and Luke Young each singled.  Kolsyn Quinn drove in two runs and Keaton Gullion and Aden Bass each had an RBI.
Salem 14 U is 10-3 and play Mt. Vernon Tueday night at 7:00 at Salem High School.
