At the Little league Complex last night in Pony League play Salem Tire knocked off Minor League 11-5. Salem Tire was down 3-2 in the top of the 4th when Caiden Beer singled scoring 2 runs. Salem Tire pulled away for good with 3 runs in the 4th including a bases loaded walk to Jalen Inlow. They put up 5 more in the 5th. Adrian Miller and Ben Ryan all drove in runs in the frame. Colton Starnes earned the win going 3 innings allowing 3 hits and 3 runs with 5 strikeouts. Carter Lowe, Micah Snyder and Miller all put in work out of the bullpen. Armoni Dempsey went 3 innings allowing 1 hit and 2 runs with 6 ks. Silas Moats and Jackson Green finished the game on the mound. Dempsey also went 2-3 at the plate.
In Boys Minors, Security Alarm beat Squibb Tank 10-3. Kolton Calhoun, Wyatt Eagen and Keldon Orrill each singled, Kolby Kraemer walked and was hit by a pitch in the win. For Squibb, Kai Graham doubled, Devin Jennings singled along with Jacob Butts.
In coach pitch, Jerold Henson Painting beat Jeff Dunahee Realty 15-10. Noah Smith had 4 hits including 2 doubles, Easton Henson doubled and singled 3 times, Brendan Dye had 3 doubles, EJ Wolfe had 4 hits and Daemion Ramirez had 3 hits.
In softball, United Medical beat Wabash 6-3. Quinn Wolfe and Bria Muray each struck out 9 apiece and only allowed 1 hit. Kinley Haines had 2 hits with an RBI and scored a run; Katee Sellers and Emma Jones each had a hit and drove in runs. Murray, Kaolin Lewis and Lilliana Meyers each scored runs. In the loss, Abigail Thompson struck out 10. Caitlynne Bryan had a hit and scored a run. Talya Gowler and Gracey Long also scored.
Casey’s beat Landers Towing 6-4. Kiera Meredith was the winning pitcher striking out 18. Jorja English, Isabella Decker, Emily Parrett, Chelsey Haines, Meredith, Emily Jones aned Emma Lipe each had a hit. Landers had one hit by Kendall Zimmerman. She also went 3 innings with 5 strikeouts with Reagan Shuler finishing the game striking out 5.
