Bobcats Represent Salem Well At State Golf Tournament

The SIJHSAA junior high state golf tournament was held yesterday at the Rend Lake Golf Complex.  Salem had 4 participants.  Logan Lockhart finished tied for 16^th along with Rhett Detering shooting 91s.  Ryan Detering tied for 36^th with his 107.  In the girls division, Halle Nix also participated and shot 139.

Benton’s River Stilley shot 69 to win the boys event.  Olney’s Reese Glover was 8^th.  On the girls side, Waterloo’s Reese Kite shot 71 to win the title.  Nashville’s Brynn Stiegman was 7^th and Carlyle’s Megan Edwards and Addie Gansauer were 13^th and 15^th.
