At the Complex last night in Majors Softball, United Medical Response got past Wabash 12-10. Bria Murray led the winning team with 11 strikeouts and went 3-3 at the plate scoring 3 runs and driving in another. Katee Sellers also added a strikeout and had a hit, 2 runs and 3 RBI. Emma Jones and Brylee Carter drove in 2 runs each. Kaolin Lewis and Quinn Wolfe were able to score 2 runs each. Kinley Haines and Kloi Spencer also added a run. In the loss, Brylee Pennypacker was very good. She struckout 13 and went 2-3 at the plate including a home run. Caitlynne Bryan and Natalie Burgess added a hit and run.
Landers improved to 4-0 with their 6-4 win over Casey’s. Reagan Shuler struckout 13. Teagan Lobek and Maci Thorsen each singled and Kinslie Parrish stole a base. In the loss, Keira Meredith struckout 18 and at the plate added 3 singles, Isabella Decker had a hit and Emily Jones 2 singles.
In girls coach pitch, Bandy’s beat Landers 24-2. In the win, Gabriella Goostree and Grayce Rose drove in 4 runs each. Kenna Benjamin also drove in 3 with 2 each from Kara Patton, Abigail Westman, Kaylee Carroll, Gwen Goostree and Madelyn Horton. Also driving in runs were Jayla Tabor, Kenzie Collier and Julianna Rushing went 5-5 with 3 runs and a RBI.
Jerold Henson Painting beat Allstate 23-9 in the coach pitch make-up game. EJ had two home runs, Koleson got a double in the 4th, along with multiple hits coming from Noah, Easton, Brendan, Bentley, Damian, and Kane.
In Tee Ball, First Christian Church played T&S Plumbing. For FCC, Keaton Littekon hit a hard line drive through the hole between 3rd and short. For T&S, Garrett Hunter also hit a smash up the middle.
