South Central improved to 7-1 on the season with a non-conference road win at Altamont 9-2. Beau Jolliff doubled and drove in a pair of runs along with Brandt Hiestand while Spencer Johannes drove in a run. Chase Dodson was the winning pitcher striking out 12 in 6.2 innings allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs. Aiden Dodson came in and got the final out. SC coach Curt Jones sits 5 wins shy of 800 for his amazing career, all with the Cougars. SC added a home game with Nashville this afternoon.
