The Selmaville Rockets basketball team has moved into the regional finals and will play Iuka for the championship at six Friday night. Selmaville advanced with a 59 to 24 win over Patoka. Selmaville was led by Heydin Purcell with 30 points and Owen Becker with 17. Tyler Huffman led Patoka with ten points. Iuka advanced with a win over #1 seed Sandoval 36 to 33. Iuka hung on late despite foul trouble to pick up the win. Iuka was led by Cameron Hilton with 17 points.
Centralia St. Mary’s New Horizon and Raccoon will play for the championship of their regional with a 51 to 22 win over North Wamac-Irvington-Grand Prairie. Raccoon advanced with a 62 to 25 win over Willow Grove. Michael Organ had 16 points and Braden Rector and Miking Ettress 13 apiece to lead Raccoon.
