After a back and forth first half Kaskaskia College was able to dominate the second and grab a 98 – 76 victory over Lewis and Clark College Wednesday night.  Chris Williams, Traeveion Jones, and Shomari Tillett all scored in double figures in the victory.

Through the first 15 minutes of the contest neither team could grab more than a 4 point lead.  That all changed with about 5 minutes left in the first half when KC flipped a switch and began to take control.  They increased a 4 point lead with about 5 minutes to play, to a 10 point lead at the half.

The second half was completely dominated by Kaskaskia College as they controlled the paint and took charge.  Eventually expanding their lead to a 98 – 76 final score.

They will look to carry the positive momentum into their showdown with John A Logan College this Saturday.  You can hear that game on WJBD this Saturday at 3PM.
