A brand new Dominos Pizza Restaurant that is more than twice as big as the old facility opens on Monday following a busy weekend to complete construction and move items to the new store in the 300 block of South Elm Street.

Lance Vosburgh is the franchise owner and is pleased with what the new store will offer the Centralia area due to their support over the years.

“This store is about 2800 square foot where the other one was much smaller with 1300 square foot.  We didn’t have any kind of pick-up window which is really important in today’s world, so in the new store, we have one.  We also have some lobby seating, a bar area people can sit at, and some tables where about 20 people can sit.  And a party room for birthday parties or meetings or what have you and that will seat about 20 as well.”

Vosburgh says the store also has three walk-in freezers compared to the one in the old store and will provide much more preparation room that was often elbow to elbow in the old store down the street.

Vosburgh says the store has about 45 employees, including 26 drivers. He’s also proud of their new GPS system that is able to track drivers and their driving habits. Vosburgh says speeding is not allowed and drivers are averaging 90-percent on their safety scores.

Vosburgh owns four Dominos franchises. In addition to Centralia, he owns the Salem store and two in Mt. Vernon.
