Glenda L. Moore, 74, of Salem, Illinois passed away January 25, 2021 at Salem Township Hospital with her daughter near her. She was a homemaker. She also assisted her husband in Moore’s Painting and Drywall Company. She was of the Christian faith.

Ms. Moore selected direct cremation, with private burial to take place in Elder Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL. There will be no public visitation or service time. Memorials may be made to the family, and received by the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N. Broadway, P.O. Box 97, Salem, IL 62881 (618) 548-1234, entrusted with the family’s care.

Surviving is her mother Zettie Stern of Decatur, IL, daughter Dawn Moore-Bailey and fiancé Matthew Phillips of Salem, IL, her grandson Michael Moore of St. Louis, MO, brother John (Teresa) Schooley of Cerro Gordo, IL, and sisters Jeannie Davis and Marilyn (Monte) Prasun both of Decatur.

She was born October 26, 1946 at Kinmundy, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Zettie (Mulvaney) Schooley. She united in marriage with Floyde Morton Moore, May 7, 1967 in Kinmundy and he preceded her in death October 11, 1998. In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by her son Joseph Moore in 2015, and step-father Robert Stern.
