The SI Elite 8th grade travel team will compete this weekend in tournament play. The team will split in two and compete in Belleville and Centralia on Sunday.
The Elite White squad will be led by coach Toby Gullion and play Sunday morning in Belleville against 3D Metro at 10am and the Eagles Elite out of Bethalto at noon. That team will include Noah Nix, Colten Starnes, Lyric Black, Keaton Gullion, Miking Ettress and Ayden Rose.
The Blue team led by coach Tim Koch will play in Centralia Sunday afternoon at 5 and 7pm against Dieterich and Hamilton County Green Machine. That team will feature Nathaniel Marlow, Zerek Koch, Isiah Lamke, Braden Rector, Bricky Doggan and Jeremiah Whitelow.
The Elite are coming off a 2nd place finish in the Reebok Series tournament before Christmas.
