A car was heavily damaged by fire early Monday morning.
The car owned by Joseph Procise was parked in a parking lot in the 1600 block of South Hickory.
The fire was discovered at 5:51 a.m. A building was about 15 feet away, but firemen confined the blaze and it received no damage.
Firemen were on the scene for about 45 minutes. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
