Clay Allen Dinkelman, age 65 of Iuka passed away June 4, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Clay was a Christian and an outdoorsman and had served his country in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He especially enjoyed camping , fishing, and woodburning. He had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke He was also a practical joker and his nick name was “Uncle Si”. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Memorial Services for Clay Allen Dinkelman will be held Saturday, June 25th at 1-2p.m at the L. R. Osborn & Son Funeral Home in Kell with Larry Albert officiating. The family invites those attending to a pot luck meal to be held from 4-6 p.m at the community center in Salem. Please bring a covered dish and drink.
He married Brenda Stanford April 19, 1985 and she survives. Mr. Dinkelman is also survived by his 2 daughters Patricia Stroup and husband Charles K of Kinmundy and Tera Partin and husband Brandon of Iuka; by 1 brother: David Arnette and wife Karen of Alabama; by 2 sisters: Charlotte McLendon and husband Wilbur Joe of Alabama Shirley Kay Grantham and husband Andrew; by 3 sisters-in-law: Melody Ann Haney and husband John, Joyce Fulton and husband Randy; and Debbie Molenhour and husband Fred; by 2 brothers-in-law: Lester Stanford and wife Janice, and Randy Lee Stanford; by 5 grandchildren: Kaitlyn Stroup, Angel Stroup, Brendon Partin, Isaiah Partin, Destiny Partin; and by several nieces and nephews.
He was born January 1, 1957 in Salem, the son of Florence Donoho and was later adopted by Henry and Hilda(Labotte) Dinkelman. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents: Henry Paul and Hilda( LaBotte) Dinkelman and by his daughter Christy Ann Stanford Dinkelman.
