Two face new felony charges following weekend arrests

25-year-old Matthew Harris of South Hamilton in Salem had bond set at $3,500 for alleged possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and two counts of deceptive practice for allegedly cashing two checks taken from another person. If released on bond, he was ordered to have no contact with the victim or her residence.

Bond was set at $10,000 for 33-year-old Nathan Page of Brookside Mobile Home Park in Centralia who was charged with felony domestic battery for allegedly biting a female victim in the shoulder. The charge was a felony due to a prior felony conviction in a battery case. Page faces an enhanced sentence due to a prior felony conviction in Jefferson County. The public defender was appointed to represent him. Page was ordered to have no contact with the victim, her residence, or her place of employment.
