Two Iuka teens were airlifted by medical helicopter to a regional hospital from the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash Thursday morning on the Bee Branch Road at the Michael Road intersection northwest of Iuka.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy says a 16-year-old female juvenile lost control, ran off one side of the road, overcorrected, then ran off the other side of the road and flipped end over end in the yard of a residence. The car came to rest on its wheels and the driver along with a 15-year-old female juvenile from Iuka were both able to get out on their own.
The sheriff’s department believes both received non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred at 7:43 Thursday morning.
