The winner advances into the Friday championship game against top seed Gillespie who scored a run in the 3rd inning and held on to beat Flora yesterday at Tully Park 1-0.

Last night in 2a regional semifinals at Marquette, Freeburg beat Piasa 10-0 and Marquette over Columbia 12-2. At Harrisburg it was the Lady Aced of Mt Carmel beating Hamilton County 7-5. Murphysboro outlasted Benton 11-10 in 9-innings at Nashville; at Pinckneyville it was Zeigler over West Frankfort 2-0. At St Joseph Ogden, St Anthony shutout Marshall 7-0 with Paris winning 5-2 over the hosts. At Tolono, TTown lost to Westville 2-0 and at Vandalia the hosts lost to Newton 10-0.
