Soccer Post Season Continues…Columbia v. Mater Dei Highlight Roxana Sectional

In 1a girls soccer sectional semifinals at Roxana today, Columbia will take on Mater Dei followed by Freeburg and Althoff.

Yesterday in 2a regional semifinals at Civic Memorial, Triad beat Taylorville 12-0 and Civic Memorial over Jerseyville 5-1.  AT Carbondale, Mt Vernon fell to Marion 11-2 and Carbondale shutout Anna 5-0.  At Centralia, the host Annies lost to Waterloo 8-0 and Carterville over Olney 5-0, and at Mascoutah, the hosts shutout Charleston 14-0 and Mattoon over Highland 1-0.
