A 26-year-old Salem man has been sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court Tuesday to unlawful delivery of five to 15 grams of methamphetamine.
As part of the plea agreement, two other felony charges pending against John Phillips of Lynnwood Drive were dropped. They were related charges for manufacture or delivery of 15 to 100 grams of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of under five grams of methamphetamine, and two related charges for aggravated fleeing.
Phillips sentence will run concurrently with a three-year prison term handed down earlier in Clinton County Court on a felony theft conviction.
Phillips will have to complete one year of parole when getting out of prison.
