The Clinton County League started up yesterday and the Odin Mudcats hosted St Jacob and came away with a sweep. In the opener, Odin used 5 runs in the 5th inning to win 7-5. Dawson Berry6 went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI. Also driving in runs were Gage Roberts, Ricky Huge and Gabe White. Huge was the winning pitcher allowing 6 hits and 0 earned runs in 7 innings.
Odin led 10-6 in Game Two before the rain came and washed the rest of the contest away. In the short game, Odin got 2 doubles from Bryson Griffith and another from Berry with a home run from Marcus Isiah. The Mudcats will return to action this Sunday at Germantown.
