A 35-year-old Centralia, Texas woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 51 on the south side of Patoka Monday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Crystal McMullen was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Brandon McMullen, also of Centralia, Texas.
He told deputies he fell asleep. The vehicle he was driving was pulling a 20-foot utility trailer and crossed the highway, ran off the road, hit a 20-foot culvert, and the wheels were ripped from the vehicle.
Crystal McMullen complained of a possible head injury and was transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
The crash occurred at 9:27 Monday morning.
