The KC Sports Awards were handed out this week. In women’s soccer, Breese Central grad Allyson Fehrmann was named MVP; Gracie Kimmle Most Improved; Emma Wesselman the Blue Angel Award.
In women’s tennis, Emma Walden was MVP; Carlie Barban Most Improved; Claire Griffith won the Blue Angel Award.
In men’s tennis, Ethan Dobbs was MVP, Caleb Klein Most Improved; Blue Devil Award went to Pierce Farmer.
The Volleyball offensive Award and MVP went to Kenadi Barriger; Myah Helmkamp the Blue Angel Award; Gabby Jamruk Serving; Claire Tonnies Defense Award.
The Blue Devils cross country awards went to Ty Reynolds of Salem – Most Valuable Runner; Sam Britt of Patoka – Most Improved Runner; Andrew Stevenson of Breese – Most Inspirational; Caleb Klein – Coaches Award.
The Blue Angels cross country award winners were Most Valuable Megan Cook of Okawville; Most Improved Cayla Krueger of New Minden; Most Inspirational Maggie Fitzgerald of Maryville; Coaches Award Summer Chelf of Mt Vernon.
