All residential and commercial customers on the Salem Water system will soon be receiving an Illinois EPA survey regarding any potential cross connections to the city’s water supply.
This survey requests information regarding possible alternative sources of water and contamination or pollution that may enter into the public water distribution system. The survey is required to be sent to all customers every 3 years.
Customers may complete the mailed survey and return to Salem City Hall or may fill out the survey on Salem’s website www.salemil.us. Response to the survey is requested and the time and effort to complete the survey are greatly appreciated.
