The NTC Softball Tournament opened up at Effingham. 3rd seed South Central earned an 8-1 win over Dieterich to advance to tomorrow’s semifinals at 6pm against 2nd seed Windsor/Stew Stras at Evergreen Park. In the game, Taegan Webster was the winning pitcher and also singled twice with an RBI, Katlyn Swift ahd 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Brooklyn Garrett doubled home a run, Jaylyn Michel singled home a run and Ella Watwood had a hit. The Lady Cougars improve to 15-8 on the season.
