The Wildcats boys track team competed in the Marion Relays and the Triad Invite on Friday.
At Marion senior Ethan Pride had a big day in the jumps, winning the high jump with a clear of 6’1 and placing 2nd in the triple with a jump of over 38’. Teammates Connor Tennyson and Kamron Hilton both cleared 5’9 to help earn 1st place in the event. Tennyson also placed 4th in the triple. The f/s 4×4 relay team of Sam Greene, Miking Ettress, Sean Thorton, and Caleb Lang was 3rd at Marion.
Over at the Triad meet, Caleb Smith placed second in the shot with a pr of 56’6” and Cole Johnson was 4th in discus with a toss of over 141’. Alec Bandy placed in the pole vault with a clear of 11’6.
