State Police say a 38-year-old Salem woman lost control of her car Tuesday afternoon from a previously known medical condition and eventually crashed into a corner of a home in the 1500 block of East Poplar Street in Odin across the highway from RP Lumber.
Preliminary details indicate after losing control 38-year-old Morgan McGee crossed over the westbound lanes of traffic, into the driveway of the residence, and struck a parked unoccupied SUV. The impact then carried both vehicles into the southwest corner of the residence.
The Odin Fire Protection, which was called to the scene, to assist the driver, reports there was moderate damage to the foundation and wall.
McGee was able to get out of her vehicle on her own. She was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
McGee was ticketed for improper lane usage. The crash occurred at one Tuesday afternoon.
