The North Clay Cardinals improved to 19-2 with an 8-1 win over Windsor/Stew Stras. The game was tied at 1 until North Clay plated 3 runs in the fifth and 4 more in the 7th. At the plate, Collyn Ballard doubled along with Layton Dawkins, Logan Fleener and Donnie Zimmerman. Holden Cliften drove in 3 runs and homered with Fleener adding 2 RBI. On the mound, Carson Burkett was the winning pitcher going 6 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run. The loss went to Gavan Wernsing who struck out 11 in 6 innings of work allowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs.
