The Salem JV Lady Cats softball team competed at the Fairfield Tournament on Saturday and split a pair of games. Salem beat Edwards County 12-4 and fell to Fairfield 9-2. Lauren Burge and Bre Thurman were great in the circle. Burge had 10 k’s in the win over Edwards County. Combined in both games, Nat Lee was 4-6 and scored 5 runs, Burge scored 3 times and Sarah Lipe drove in 3.
The SC Lady Cougars are in softball action today as they host TTown.
