The Salem Lady Cats earned a 12-1 win over Wood River for their first Cahokia win. Makenna Smith was great in the circle striking out 9. Lilly Blagoue was 2-3 with 3 RBI, Smith tripled home a run, Olivia Paulson was 3-3 with an RBI, Nat Lee tripled, Bre Thruman went 2-3 with a 3-run inside-the-park home run, she had 4 RBI on the day. Maya Susmena also scored twice.
The Salem Lady Wildcats are scheduled to host Fairfield this afternoon at Tully Park. The rest of the week has the Lady Cats traveling to Roxana tomorrow for Cahokia play.
