SC Softball Goes 1-1 At Their Own Tournament In Kinmundy

The SC Lady Cougars went 1-1 at the SC Softball Tournament on Saturday.

SC opened the tournament with a 9-3 win over New Athens.  Kyra Swift had 2 RBI.  Also driving in SC runs were Brooklyn Garrett, Laney Webster, Lilly Malone, Ella Watwood and Abi Shuler.

SC fell to Woodlawn 13-3.  Malone drove in the only SC runs.  The Lady Cougars are 7-4 and will play at St Elmo/Brownstown tomorrow.

Also at the tournament, Woodlawn beat Cumberland 5-3 and Cumberland over New Athens 4-2.
