The Salem Wildcats are back in action today as they take their 2-6 record to Triad High School. The varsity will play West at 1 and Triad at 2pm. The JV will follow the same schedule only at Belleville West High.
The SC Cougars will travel to Edwards County.
Yesterday, Christ Our Rock fell to Zeigler Royalton at GCS Stadium 4-3. The Stallions held a 3-01 lead until ZRC scored 3 in the top of the sixth to take the lead, and the win. Colton Oelze doubled and drove in 2 runs for the Stallions. Will Pryor and Jayden Bazile cranked 2 hits each. Oelze worked the complete game on the mound allowing 5 hits and 4 runs, 3 earned.
Also yesterday, Flora beat Altamont 9-5.
