The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats will compete at the Class L State Volleyball Tournament today held at Pinckneyville High. The day opens for Salem at 10am in the Secondary Gym against Carmi White County while in the main gym it’s DuQuoin and Mascoutah. The other first round games at 11 will be Carterville and Massac County and Waterloo takes on O’Fallon Carriel.
In Class S at Herrin at 10am, Desoto plays t John Trinity and Thompsonville takes on Holy Childhood Mascoutah, at 11 it’s TSJ Nashville taking on New Horizon and Century playing St Rose; at 12, Jonesboro plays Woodlawn and St John Chester against Trinity Lutheran, with the 1pm first round games featuring Albers and Cisne as well as Summersville and Pinckneyville.
In Class M State action at Nashville at 9am, Chester takes on Aviston, Smithton plays NCOE at 10, Goreville and Johnston City at 11 and then at noon it’s Nashville taking on Breese.
