Dustin “Dusty” Lee Galloway, 35, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Dusty was a proud owner of his own glass business, Dusty Glass, for many years. He was a full time dad to his daughter, Alyce who resided with him. Dusty enjoyed antique tractors, working on vehicles, loud exhausts, mudding, and hanging out with friends and family. Dusty had a passion for music and loved playing it loudly thumping on whatever speakers he wired up in his latest vehicle. Dusty also loved Adidas shoes and his faithful dog, Bruce. He loved to act goofy and had a warped sense of humor. He graduated from Norris City Omaha Enfield High School in 2005.
A Visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Interment will follow Opdyke Cemetery in Opdyke, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Dustin’s honor to the Galloway Family in care of Tiki Lagow. Dusty is survived by his mother, Tiki Lagow of Mount Vernon, Illinois; children, Alyce, Scarlett, and Hunter; sister, Dacey (Galloway) Rogers and husband, Curtis of Golconda, Illinois; brothers, Carl (Davey) Wilson of Bluford, Illinois and Dylan Lagow of Texico, Illinois, currently serving in the Marines; nephew, Dristen; niece, Presley; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and very special friends, Arica, Christina, Drake, Dawson, and Andrew. He will be missed by many.
He was born January 13, 1987 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Danny Galloway and Tiki Galloway. Dusty was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.
