Latavia Maines D1 All American After Showing At NCAA Indoors

Centralia grad and University of Tennessee standout Latavia Maines finished 3^rd in the women’s shot put to help propel the Lady Vols to a 16^th place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships.  It’s the best women’s finish at the NCAA’s since placing 7^th in 2016.  Maines secured Division 1 First-Team All-America honors in the women’s indoor shot put for the first time in her career after placing 3^rd in the shot Saturday night.  She tossed the shot put 58-3 on her 3^rd attempt.
