By WJBD Staff Mar 16, 2021 | 3:10 PM

Shirley Ann Daniels, 95, of Patoka, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Odin Health Care Center in Odin. Shirley was a kind compassionate lady that thought of others needs before her own. She was the rock of her family, always the first to offer support, encouragement, and love. She was a member of the Patoka Christian Church and enjoyed attending services there. Shirley was no stranger to hard work and preferred to keep busy as opposed to sitting around. She kept their antique store running smoothly, worked at the post office, all while making her home a comfortable, welcome place for family and friends. Shirley loved nothing more than to spend quality time with her family. She had a huge heart for her grandchildren and was blessed to help raise them. She was an amazing cook, and everyone loved her beautiful daffodil cake that truly was a labor of love to make. Shirley was a proper lady, respecting others, lending a listening ear, and helping anyone in need.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Patoka City Cemetery in Patoka at 1:00 p.m. Day Macz Funeral Homes in Patoka is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
