Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson says an investigation into suspicious activity by two men near Blue Goose Liquor led to one being arrested on multiple no bond warrants and drug charges.
29-year-old Ivan Walton of 23rd Street was taken to the Marion County Jail on new charges of alleged possession of meth, possession with intent to deliver meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s also being held on a DuPage County warrant for theft and warrants in two
New York state counties for burglary. All three require Walton to be held without bond.
Dodson says Walton was allegedly found in possession of 5.2-grams of meth split between four baggies as well as a small amount of heroin.
