The prep basketball season is in the books after Championship Saturday at the State Farm Center. Yorkville Christian trailed at the half, but eventually their depth was too much for Liberty as the Mustangs won 54-41.

In 4a, Glenbard West solidified itself as one of the best boys basketball teams in Illinois history Saturday night, in front of 10,000 spectators, they rolled to a 56-34 win over Whitney Young. The Hilltoppers didn’t lose to an Illinois team all season, finished 37-1.
