The AP released their All State Girls Team. In Class 1a on the First Team was Christopher sophomore Amiah Hargrove, Altamont sophomore Grace Nelson, Okawville sophomore Alayna Kraus. The 2nd team included Sydney Richards of Neoga and St Anthony’s Riley Guy. Honorable mention went to St Anthony’s Lucy Fearday and Okawville’s Briley Rhodes.
In 2a on the First Team was Jillian Hamilton, senior from Pana. 2nd Team included Carterville Alecia Doyle. Honorable Mention to Benton’s Ensley Tedeschi, Alyssa Cole of Nashville, Amayah Doyle of Carterville and TTown’s Kaylee Niebrugge and Kaitlyn Schumacher.
In 3a, First Team included Mattoon senior Mallory Ramage. Honorable Mention to Olivia Durbin of Civic Memorial and teammates Kelbie Zupan * Aubree Wallace, Jerzy Bittle of Marion, Mascoutah’s Sophia Loden and Herrin’s Presli Karnes.
In 4a on the First Team was Edwardsville’s Sydney Harris. Honorable mention went to her teammates Macy Silvey and Elle Evans as well as O’Fallon’s Shannon Dowell.
